Been so caught up in getting ready for my trip that I had forgotten to post about the shopping Kelvin did in Paris for a couple of happy people!
Met the poised and really affable HX at the Royal Copenhagen Tea House to pass her the lovely 32cm Kelly and gorgeous enamel bracelet.
Quetsch is a colour so hard to capture in pictures; it has so many inflections, for want of a better word. Under yellow lighting, it looks darker than prune; under white lighting, it appears to be a brighter raisin as described by the Hermes SA; in the sun, the blue hues come up even stronger. But that’s what makes it so precious, I really believe
Taken under the yellow yellow lighting of the cafe. Raisin-prune, no?
See, even the Rouge bracelet turns up looking Framboise under the yellow light.
The following day, I met Gloria to pass her the cute tiny Matrioschka Russian Doll pendant on a chain and her Chanel studs.

She sports the Chanel Carousel Convertible Necklace (so very chicly) that she bought from us (yes, it was this that started her on the slippery slope heheh, I still get queries about it to this day, I kid you not!)

And yes, today I met Gloria again, to hand her even more russian dolls!
This time, it was a Russian Doll on a pendant, albeit a much bigger one than her first purchase, with intricate embellishments and crystals. Very very pretty. And also, a pair of very cute russian doll earrings. Yes, people, she’s got nearly the entire set!
Hold your breath for pictures of the second Birkin Kelvin had managed to order; it will arrive in November. We found out that ordering one even in Paris is not a straightforward thing at all having to skilfully manoeuver around the internal H-politics, but thankfully, Kelvin’s Hermes SA is a sweetheart.
B, send over your pics of the handsome LV belt!
Will try to get hold of more pics of happy people, even from trips way back! I would always forget to take pictures arrrgh.
And of course! How can I miss this one out: C’s Gold Togo 30cm

hello carol
tell Ms HX that she has a truly gorgeous beautiful kelly bag! the colour combination is so divine!
Yes it is, isn’t it
Hi I seemed to have left a comment before but the responses are now gone.
I’d like to inquire on the liklihood to covet a 35cm Gold (Tan) Togo Leather Birkin w/ GHW.
Are they adjusting the prices in view of those boutiques that trade in Euro any time soon? These are more worth the trip than say Japan, right? Appreciate some inkling as to a rough price indication of my desired Birkin inclusive of your concierge charges etc…Do email me kindly, thank you!
Hi Carolyn,
chances of getting a birkin is very touch-and-go. As for Paris, we wouldn’t have the luxury of picking and choosing as waaaay before, as the whole world heads there. We would now grab whatever is offered to us. That said, it’s probably more likely to get a Gold than say, a Rose Shocking. A 35cm in Paris starts from S$12,6xx whilst a Tokyo one starts from S$17,xxx. With Tokyo, you pay a premium, but all the Tokyo orders I’ve fulfilled, matched the client’s requests for colours and even hardware, not a luxury with Paris purchases.
