I started the business nearly two years ago because I believed in availing the ladies who deserved it, bags and accessories that make them happy. They benefit by way of savings, or just pure availability (in the case of birkins and limited season bags and accessories).
I have accepted that this is an open business model that is susceptible to copy-cats. I have had websites that openly copy my wording or even pricing model, lifted word for word from right here. I have had competitors openly copying my tone and manner of posts, and tragically, posing as customers, asking on pricing but never committing to a purchase. Yes, I do know who you are. Amazing what bags bring out in us eh…
But still, I would remain on amicable terms. For I do not believe in greed, or profiting at your expense, or going back on my service promise. But what separates us, is that I built this on a belief, whilst the rest may have built it on a business model.
And that’s what I’ve learnt, two years on…
But still I believe, it’s fair game to all. And the consumers have only to gain, so game on.
But most importantly, a gazillion thanks to my faithful readers and clients. This wouldn’t have been possible without you lovelies! And a beautiful long weekend to all.
