2010 has been such an exciting year for us, and a year of milestones for me personally. I’ve learnt to take everything in stride, well everything except the idiots that insist on parking at the T-junction where I risk turning into an oncoming car, every day. Ok, ok, chill, chill.
As I was saying… the downs make me count my blessings, and make the ups that much more stellar.
Let’s see how we turned the downers around.
-Proliferation of fakes and fakesters > made me stick strictly to my business ethics
-Dogs shedding like mad, making the floor a furry mess > made for a cleaner house since I have to clean more often!
-Kiefer not doing great in Chinese > coaching him made my Chinese better! (Ok, so maybe just at the P1 level haha)
-Friends leaving the country > makes you treasure them that much more
Being owed copious amounts of money > made me hold my purse strings that much tighter
-Horrible people: ok this one is a toughie, I never really thought I would meet the devil incarnate, but I did this year. Oh well. Karma will take care of this one haha. Nono, it makes me appreciate the good people in my life more. And they make the rest of us look better
Ok folks, enough of the emo talk, let’s go forth and conquer 2011.
