Yes, you must be thinking, what is this woman up to, selling strollers??
Once upon some moons ago, a couple of years after I gave birth to Kiefer, my hubby got obsessed over the topic of strollers, as it took a lot to get our kiddo into one, much less stay in there.
He wouldn’t stay still in the Mclaren strollers, as they’re a little too insulated for our warm weather, and the tiny wheels weren’t very stable for for a brand touting itself to be one of the ‘safest’ in baby strollers, and the handles were an awkward grab.
The popular ‘umbrella’ strollers like Combi and Aprica were so light, that the niece fell backwards when the handles were laden with shopping. With her inside it. Dangerous eh.
So the hubby went through the forums and located one of two stroller brands, that are getting tons of great reviews, but not available here. We ended up travelling to London and Barcelona, to meet up with the owners of the companies, Micralite and CasualPlay. We had the pleasure of visiting the factories and the test labs even.
What a whirlwind journey to find the perfect strollers huh. This obsession became a business when we became the official asia pacific distributors for the brands. The strollers were retailing in Mother’s Work, LifeBaby and Spring. I eventually went back to work and suffice to say, we forgot about our strollers…
We’ve got to move these strollers out of the in-law’s home where they are currently being stored, as they’ve probably overstayed their welcome!
Let me introduce the Micralite Fastfold strollers. I swear by it. I’ve even travelled alone with Kiefer with one to KL and Bangkok, when I used to meet my hubby there on his work trips. And I often get stopped and get questions on the brand I’m using, ‘cos it’s just a great looker! Perfect to hang your birkins on too And still have enough handle space for your shopping bags.
