… here are more pictures, from the ‘Shopping’ collection, hooha!
Sorry that I’ve only just decided to get out of my groucho mood (you can totally tell from my second last post).
Anyhoo, here goes!

Cabane de Zucca, a Jap brand that's breaking out into the international market. Really nice knits with whimsical details

Commes de Garcon. So cheap in Tokyo. Or does Club 21 super over price it here?

Another Commes de Garcon store, in Aoyama. Intriguing store design.

PLAY Converse sneakers from CDG, that Ken is grateful recipient of

A Dutch Jazz festival we stumbled upon at Marounochi, looks like a Heineken Green Room session

Forbidden Fruit cafe, through which we had to pass, to get to the goth-like Bedrock, sister boutique to Le Grand Bleu!

Yes... it's Lanvin. But look closer.

It's Lanvin en Bleu. I'm wondering if it's exclusive to Japan.

While looking for Rei's Dover Street Market, we stumbled upon this really cool find.
‘Magazine Alive’ is a pop-up store that showcases pieces that were featured in this month’s Vogue issue. Kinda like the ‘secret closet’ unveiled. The items are available for retail too I believe.

Papped a shot of what looks like a vintage Chanel necklace!

Jas striking a pose before the M by MJ fashion temple

Inside.

The Jill Stuart pearls I told Jas she can't leave without, punny punny I know, from a popular second hand designer boutique

An Dem at Omotesando Hills

White out! At Martin Margiela boutique

Amazing Cartier facade at Aoyama. Looks like a pipe organ yea

Simply freakin amazing Prada building at Aoyama. The area was largely residential til these superbrands started up there recently.

Issey Miyake's Pleats Please. Sulky assistants, one-dimensional designs, I have no love for this place.

Tsumori Chisato! It's my new favourite Jap brand. Girly and irreverent, I like.

Tsumori Chisato Gold. Yes, indeed!

Yea baby!

Multi-label boutique, Loveless

Yohji Yamomoto's flagship

Local label A.P.C I think. Very very cool underground bunker-like store.

Sexay-as-hell local multi-label boutique Restir complete with hidden doorways. They stock Victoria Beckham's line, which I really like I must say.

After getting Gloria's Russian Dolls, Jas and I were starting to see them everywhere!

Chanel lift button!

A well-put-together lady decided to pass on the gorgeous red jersey classic flap. Nooooo

Chanel cosmetics area in the Ginza boutique

Hermes! At Marounochi. Jas was tired of me popping in to every Hermes possible.

At the Ginza Hermes where we got the royal treatment. Managed to pap a shot! Whee

The coffee that was so graciously offered to us by the affable Ms. Watanabe.

The too-pretty-to-eat Kelly chocolates. I wanted to tabao! haha

Mandrake in Shinjuku. Four stories under this structure lies an underground manga epicentre! I had to force Jas in.

Statue of liberty, and the Golden Gate bridge?!?! At Odaiba.

We retire to amazing views at the (highest in Tokyo) Club Lounge before and after shopping!
On a lonely stretch of Shibuya.
Let me leave you with this closing shot of a tailor at the window of a boutique.
Tokyo was senses and shopping overload! I did wish that I got into more vintage stores though, and perhaps the Naka Meguro district. Next time, eh?
Ok, signing off!
